5 days are not enough on this island.
What I’m Wearing:
As you might have seen in my pictures I recently traveled to St. Barths. We spent 5 nights in a beautiful house but honestly time flew by! This was our second time visiting the island but it was this trip that made it one of my favorite spots to travel to. I’m a city girl, as much as I like to lay low and relax I like to have options and that’s why I love it so much! You can relax and rest, but you also have plenty of entertainment, amazing restaurants, great shopping spots and very interesting people from all around the world…You can have it all!
Both times I’ve been on the island it’s been between May-June, where there is enough people for it to feel alive but it is not as packed as I hear it gets during high season. I like to plan ahead but still keep the option for any last minute change of plans, so have that in mind before booking your flights!
We arrived in St Marteen and took a small plane to St. Barths, there is also a ferry option which is cheaper,but you’d need to get a taxi from the airport to the port to get on it. When we got to St. Barths we had the Mini Coopers ready to head to the rental villa! This is one of my favorite things to do, I could drive around the island with the top down enjoying the stunning views!
Our second day was one of my favorites. Even though I tend to get a little sea sick I think renting a catamaran is a great activity to do here! We got to jump from a cliff and go to other islands nearby… Honestly, I find it not as expensive as renting the same service in other cities like Miami. We ended the day meeting some of our new friends at Shellona Beach (MY FAVORITE !) Great spot to have lunch and spend the day on a mini private beach.

We also went to Nikki Beach (Don’t miss their Sunday’s day party & their sushi!), Bonito (beautiful restaurant with great food), Lil’ Rock; smaller beach club, cozier and they made us feel at home. Le Ti & Bagatelle are my top choices for dinner and party! Also, I feel like I didn’t have enough time to visit all the shops around town, where you can get all of the major designers as well as some local designers! Can’t say it enough this is a great destination to travel specially with family or a group of friends! We are already planning our next trip to the island!

Lo que estoy usando:
Como habrán visto en mis fotos, recientemente viajé a St. Barths. Pasamos 5 noches en una hermosa casa, pero honestamente el tiempo pasó volando!
Esta fue la segunda vez que visitamos la Isla, pero fue en esta ocasión se convirtió en uno de mis lugares favoritos para viajar.
Yo soy una chica de ciudad, por mucho que me guste descansar y relajarme también me gusta tener mis opciones. En esta Isla puedes relajarte y descansar, pero también tienes una gran variedad de opciones de entretenimiento, restaurantes increíbles, excelentes lugares de compras y gente muy interesante de todas partes del mundo … ¡Puedes tenerlo todo!
Las dos veces que he estado en la Isla han sido entre mayo y junio, meses en los que hay suficiente gente para que se sienta viva, pero no está tan llena como he escuchado que es durante la temporada alta. Esta es una de las razones por las que me gusta planear todo con anticipación, pero aún conservo la opción para cualquier cambio de último momento en los planes, así que ten en cuenta esto antes de reservar tus vuelos.
Llegamos a St Marteen y tomamos un pequeño avión a St. Barths, también hay una opción de ferry que es más económica, pero necesitarías trasladarte en un taxi desde el aeropuerto hasta el puerto para tomar el ferry. Cuando llegamos a St. Barths, teníamos a los Mini Coopers listos para dirigirnos a la villa que alquilamos. Esta es una de mis cosas favoritas para hacer. ¡Podría conducir por la isla de arriba abajo disfrutando de las impresionantes vistas todo el día!
Nuestro segundo día fue uno de mis favoritos. ¡Aunque tiendo a marearme un poco en el mar, recomiendo mucho alquilar un catamarán! Puedes disfrutar la vista de otra perspectiva y visitar islas mas remotas que están al rededor… Además, no es tan caro como alquilar el mismo servicio en otras ciudades como Miami. Terminamos el día compartiendo con nuestros nuevos amigos que conocimos en Shellona Beach (¡MI FAVORITO!). Excelente lugar para almorzar y pasar el día en una mini playa privada.

Bonito (Es un hermoso restaurante con excelente comida), Lil ’Rock; es un club de la playa es pequeño, acogedor y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. ¡Le Ti & Bagatelle mi mejor opción para la cena y la fiesta!
Realmente siento que no tuve tiempo suficiente para visitar todas las tiendas de la ciudad, donde puedes conseguir todo de diseñadores conocidos, así como a algunos diseñadores locales. En todo caso creo que me falto mucho que conocer! Recomiendo mucho este viaje es un gran destino para viajar especialmente con la familia o un grupo de amigos.
